WHY DO WE COOPERATE

Climate change is one of the major urgent challenges facing humanity and the planet today. Far more needs to be done to achieve global warming levels below 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2030. Now is the time for continuous, impactful actions rather than mere meetings and negotiations. It is crucial for both the public and private sectors to join forces in taking concrete steps towards climate action.

Asia, in particular, has some of the worst rural poverty problems and is experiencing rapid tropical deforestation and desertification. Nature-based and forest-based solutions are one of the most cost-effective ways to achieve decarbonization objectives where public-private actions are needed.
