Climate change is one of the major urgent challenges facing humanity and the planet today. Far more needs to be done to achieve global warming levels below 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2030. Now is the time for continuous, impactful actions rather than mere meetings and negotiations. It is crucial for both the public and private sectors to join forces in taking concrete steps towards climate action. AFoCO Leaders Forum is a gathering of corporate and other leaders that is fully aligned with Asia’s Net Zero and the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Forum will host CEO roundtables focused on the role of businesses and solutions in combating climate change, reduce annual carbon footprint by one megaton in Asia through forest ecosystem restoration and conservation, and create positive impact and contribute to the SDGs.
